This article briefly describes how to record digital audio from a VHS video. All you require, apart from the VHS machine and PC, are a SCART adapter and lead, both of which are easily available and inexpensive, and sound editing software. The example used here is Goldwave because that is the one I am familiar with. It is shareware, and there is also freeware sound editing software available.
